Lieutenant to Colonel, gabardine fabric, single piece cockade and silver cap cord. green piping. Two green grommets/vent holes on each side of crown. Size 55 and dated "H" (1984). Gray band. (Visor type S3117/3i, o-r). Black  ink "Made in Germany" import stamp on lining. VEB 1856.
Cover- Police/MdI slip-on white polyester hat cover, size 2. Hat- gabardine fabric, single piece cockade and silver cap cord, green piping, two black grommets/vent holes on each side of crown. Size 55 and dated "P" (1986). Gray band. (Visor type S3117/3ii, o-l). VEB 1856.
Lieutenant to Colonel, gabardine fabric, single piece cockade and silver cap cord, green piping. This cap has a removable top, unfortunately the green top is missing. Gray band. (Visor type S3117/1i, i-l) 
Patrolman to Senior Sergeant, gabardine fabric, one piece cockade, braided green cap cord, green piping. Removable top, the green top is missing. Size 57. Gray band. (Visor type S3117/1i, i-l).
Patrolman to Senior Sergeant, wool fabric, two piece cockade and braided green cap cord, green piping. Two green Grommets/vent holes on each side of crown. Size 57 and dated "Z" (1969). Brown band. (Visor type "4-U"). VEB 1856. In the early 1970's gabardine  fabric replaced the wool hats.
Patrolman to Senior Sergeant, one piece cockade, braided green cap cord, green piping. Two black Grommets/vent holes on each side of crown. Size 57 and dated "N" (1989). Black band. (Visor type S3117/1ii, i-r). VEB 1856.
Officer. Imitation fur and gabardine fabric top, single piece cockade. Size 54 and dated "T" (1985). VEB 1856. Owners name "Willing" written in red ink.
